Fred Vossburg

Fred began his career at WSEE July of 1963 - 9 years after we signed on the air.  The big joke is that he has been here so long he "knows where all the bodies are buried" - We have been through numerous owners, employees and Fred has outlasted them all.

His personnel file contains job performance memos containing the phrases "you have been a great source of pride to me and your fellow workers."  "Thank you for an excellent job", Bob Hoffman, GM, 1991.  "I have witnessed a dramatic improvement in our on-air quality since my arrival", Dan Nungesser, Chief Engineer, 1992.  "Fred is very efficient, creative and willing to discover new ways to do things.  So good at what he does that everyone piles work on him and the pressure to perform is great", Earl Kneissler, Program Director and Station Manager, 1995.  "He will be the most difficult of all staff members to replace when he decides to hang it up", Earl Kneissler, Program Director and Station Manager, 1996.
