Frank Troiani

Frank's broadcasting career began in 1955 by not getting a job at a local utility company. The manager who conducted the interview suggested he contact the local radio station. "Although I knew nothing about radio or selling" states Frank, "I was hired."
Through the years, Frank was promoted to sales manager and then station manager. In 1955, he purchased WHUN and WLAK radio of Huntingdon, PA. In 1978, WMRF AM/FM.
Frank has received numerous accolades including Associate Press Awards for news and sports excellence, and the RAB Awards for commercial excellence.
Frank adds, "My broadcasting career came to a conclusion in selling First Media Radio in May 2000. With this sale, I was assured all current employees--faithful to me--would be retained." |
