The PA State EAS Plan is an FCC-mandated document outlining the organization and implementation of the State of Pennsylvania’s Emergency Alert System (EAS). The purpose of the Emergency Alert System is to alert the citizens of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania of emergency situations by utilizing the resources of Radio and Television Broadcasters to rapidly distribute warnings and information to ensure the safety of the public.
